The increase in EVs is leading to constraints on the electrical grid system. The ability to lower or stop EV charging for short periods of time is highly useful to the grid operator / electricity retailers and this can be compensated. It is only temporary and cars will still get fully charged.
If you are part of our network and monetising your charger, you can get a 20% discount on the network. Hosts agree to pass this discount on, it's part of the community.
With AC charging the car itself may limit the charging speed. Some cars are limited with AC charging to only 3.7kW but upto 22kW is also possible. With DC charging the rate will be as stated for the charger, for all cars.
If you use our platform we take a 10% fee of what you charge your customers. We also take reservation fees and idling penalty fees if those features are enabled
